Evening gown in crimson silk crêpe, turquoise cabochon and diamonds. The back falls open to a single clasp, from which a turquoise cascade is suspended the length of the spine. Sleeves are cut in one with the bodice; the train is gathered by hand at the waist.

Silk crêpe of this weight should be aired rather than pressed. Entrust cleaning to a specialist couture conservator only. Detach the clasp before storage and keep the piece flat, wrapped in unbleached tissue.
