Aria Mehta

A woman in a red gown with a turquoise clasp descending curved garden steps beside a balustrade and clipped hedges

Aria Mehta began with a simple observation: the objects we treasure most are those that move through time.

A brooch passed from one lapel to another across generations. A stone that outlives every dress it has touched, gathering a history of its own. While fashion is often created for a moment, the house was founded to create for movement: pieces that inhabit many lives, take many forms, and endure across generations.

One language

Each piece is one work of art with two lives. The gown belongs to the evening. The jewel belongs to a lifetime.

Jewellery and fashion

The house exists to dissolve one of luxury’s oldest distinctions: the boundary between jewellery and fashion. Here, they are not neighbouring crafts, but a single language. A gown is conceived around its stones as a setting is conceived around a jewel, with every element considered structurally and deliberately until neither can be considered complete without the other.

Emeralds trace the lines of a bodice. Sapphires fall along an open back. Then, freed from the gown, they become something entirely their own: a pendant, a brooch, an object to be worn and treasured anew.

Discipline

Nothing is produced. Everything is made. One piece, one client, one commission at a time.

Shaped by years within fashion, the house holds itself to the disciplines of both high jewellery and haute couture. Stones are selected individually. Silks are cut, fitted, and sewn entirely by hand.

Commissions

Settings are engineered to the precision of a jeweller’s loupe, then concealed within the construction so that the mechanism disappears and only the beauty remains.

Aria Mehta works exclusively by private commission, between London, Dubai, and Paris.
